The JMAE Group caters to the needs of our seniors living on a fixed income over the age of 65. Many have little or no transportation. This makes it difficult for them to obtain basic necessities, such as food, water and toiletries.   All items are donated by volunteers of the JMAE Group and from the generosity of our local community. This service is offered at NO COST.

• We realize that food budget is often cut in order to stretch earnings to cover utilities, rent, medications and other expenses. Even small increases in food or rent can be costly to seniors on a fixed income.

• Due to their fixed income, several seniors are not able to purchase basic toiletry items.

• Some seniors wear dentures and often are unable to purchase denture adhesive and cleaner in order for them chew their food because these products can be relatively expensive on a limited income.

Senior Choice:

We provide toiletry and personal care items to each senior based on their individual needs. We setup an "on-site shopping" experience at the local senior citizen apartments. Seniors are able to make their selections and provided a shopping bag.  If there are any leftover items, we leave those items with the site/office manager so seniors can access and take items as needed without having to travel to the grocery store.

Delivery Method: 

Our volunteers will deliver boxes to a seniors' place of residence at local senior citizen apartments. Serving the Ark-La-Tex only.
